Event experience

In October 2025, Pangaea Youth Network participated in the Celebrating Our Diversity Forum 2025, organized by the Anna Lindh Foundation at the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The forum gathered youth organizations, educators, and activists from across Europe to exchange ideas on diversity, inclusion, and intercultural dialogue. It created space for participants to share good practices and learn from inspiring community projects that promote youth empowerment and cooperation across borders.

Representing Denmark, Pangaea Youth Network shared our experience in building youth-led initiatives that connect international and local communities in Horsens through creative learning and social action. Our participation highlighted the importance of dialogue, openness, and inclusion in youth work.

Events like this strengthen our mission to empower young people to take action, engage with others, and build a more understanding and inclusive society.

Building Bridges, Strengthening Communities

Participating in the Celebrating Our Diversity Forum represents a milestone for Pangaea Youth Network. This forum is not merely a meeting point; it is a vital laboratory for intercultural dialogue and social innovation. By engaging with the Anna Lindh Foundation’s extensive network, we gain first-hand access to global perspectives on inclusion, trust, and cohesion—challenges that are as relevant in our local community in Horsens as they are across the Mediterranean.

For an organization like ours, these international spaces are essential to ensure our youth work remains dynamic and inclusive. The exchange of good practices with educators and activists from over 40 countries allows us to bring back fresh, innovative methodologies to Denmark. This connection ensures that we are not working in isolation, but are part of a larger, collective effort to build a more resilient and understanding society. Ultimately, our presence at the forum strengthens our capacity to empower young people, providing them with the tools to navigate a diverse world with confidence and empathy.
