Our story

Live the PYN experience throughEducationalExchanges

Welcome to Pangaea Youth Network, your one-stop hub for empowering yourself and connecting with a global network of young changemakers! We were born from a shared vision: to empower young minds, cultivate a global community, and unlock the true potential of youth.

Established in Horsens, Denmark, in 2023, we are a dynamic NGO dedicated to equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to thrive in an interconnected world. Our journey is fuelled by a passionate team with extensive experience in international mobility. We leverage the power of Erasmus+, Nordplus, and other European programs to create transformative, life-changing experiences. We deeply believe in fostering international collaboration, promoting inclusivity, and nurturing a generation of active global citizens.

Vision

We envision a world where young people from all backgrounds are connected, inspired, and empowered to make a positive impact. By fostering international collaboration, inclusivity, and cultural understanding, we aim to build a thriving global community for future generations.

European Youth Goals

The eleven youth goals that guide our work

Shaped by young people across Europe, the European Youth Goals set the direction of the EU Youth Strategy. They are the compass behind every project, exchange and workshop we build at PYN.

  • Foster young people's sense of belonging to the European project and build a bridge between the EU and youth to regain trust and increase participation.

  • Ensure equality of all genders and gender-sensitive approaches in all areas of a young person’s life.

  • Enable and ensure the inclusion of all young people in society, with particular attention to those facing discrimination or marginalisation.

  • Ensure young people have better access to reliable information, support their ability to evaluate it critically and engage in constructive dialogue.

  • Achieve better mental wellbeing for young people and end the stigmatisation of mental health issues, so every young person can thrive.

  • Create the conditions that enable young people in rural areas to fulfil their potential and take an active role in shaping their communities.

  • Guarantee an accessible labour market with opportunities that lead to quality jobs for all young people.

  • Integrate and improve different forms of learning, equipping young people for the challenges of an ever-changing life in the 21st century.

  • Strengthen young people’s democratic participation and autonomy and provide dedicated youth spaces in every area of society.

  • Achieve a society in which all young people are environmentally active, educated and able to make a difference in their everyday lives.

  • Ensure equal access for all young people to youth organisations and European youth programmes, building a society based on European values and identity.

The EU Youth Strategy should contribute to realising this vision of young people by mobilising EU level policy instruments as well as actions at national, regional and local level by all stakeholders.
