Continuing the Conversation: Our Second Workshop on Women’s Health and Menstrual Awareness

On Tuesday, April 28th at 17:00, we hosted our second community event dedicated to women’s health and menstrual awareness. Following the first workshop held on April 14th, this gathering continued our intention of creating a safe, open space for learning, sharing, and connection.

Continuing the Conversation: Our Second Workshop on Women’s Health and Menstrual Awareness

The Workshop

This session focused on building a foundational understanding of the female body, with particular attention to basic anatomy and cycle charting during menstruation. The aim was not only to provide knowledge, but also to empower participants to better understand and track their own cycles in a way that feels accessible and supportive.

What truly defined the evening, however, was the quality of the conversations that emerged. Participants engaged with honesty and curiosity, sharing personal experiences and reflections. In doing so, many discovered a reassuring sense of commonality — realizing that challenges, questions, and experiences around menstrual health are often shared rather than faced alone. This collective openness helped foster a strong sense of community and mutual support.

The event concluded with a light, shared dinner prepared using food collected from local grocery stores as part of our effort to reduce food waste. This final moment offered a relaxed environment to continue conversations, deepen connections, and reflect on the evening in a more informal setting.

This second workshop reaffirmed the importance of creating spaces where education and lived experiences can meet. We are grateful to everyone who participated and contributed to making the event both meaningful and inspiring, and we look forward to continuing this journey together in future gatherings.
