Building Digital Skills Through Youth Work
As part of its youth work mission, Pangaea Youth Network supported young people in joining an Erasmus+ project in Berlin, organized by Copernicus Berlin. Pangaea sent 5 participants (Alexia, Andreea, Victoria, Hang, Aleks) to represent the organization as Team Denmark, giving them the opportunity to engage directly in this international learning experience. The project responded to the growing need for digital skills and critical thinking among youth, helping participants better understand technologies that are shaping their future.
Learning by Doing
During the workshop, young people learned by doing. They explored how blockchain works, created their own NFTs, tested token systems, and discussed real-life uses of Web3. These activities were designed not just to teach technical knowledge, but to build confidence and curiosity—key elements in youth work.
Creating Connections Across Cultures
The project also created a safe and open space for intercultural exchange. Participants from different countries worked together, shared ideas, and supported each other. This helped strengthen their sense of belonging and showed how youth work can connect people across cultures.
