Transforming Archives into Education (TAE)

Pangaea Youth Network is looking for motivated participants to join the Erasmus+ Training Course “Transforming Archives into Education (TAE)” in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg from 6–13 May 2026.

This training is designed for educators, youth workers, and researchers who want to explore how archival materials—such as documents, photographs, and videos—can be used as powerful educational tools. Through interactive and hands-on learning, participants will gain practical skills to turn historical content into engaging learning experiences that promote critical thinking and deeper understanding.

What is the purpose of the training?

The project aims to:

Strengthen archival literacy and critical thinking
Promote the use of archives in education and youth work
Explore creative and interactive teaching methods
Encourage the use of history for social awareness and engagement

Who can apply?

We are looking for participants who:

Are educators, youth workers, or active in cultural/educational fields
Have an interest in history, archives, or innovative learning methods
Are motivated, open-minded, and ready to actively participate
Are willing to apply their learning in their local context
Can communicate in English

Practical Information

Location: Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg
Dates: 6–13 May 2026

Accommodation will be provided in a youth hostel near the city centre.

The venue is easily accessible by public transport and public transport is free for EVERYONE

Financial Conditions

Accommodation and meals are fully covered
Travel costs reimbursed according to Erasmus+ rules
Minimum 80% participation required for reimbursement
