Re:Connect – Exploring Sustainability Inside and Out
Youth Exchange, Non-Formal Education
Description
Re:Connect is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange that invites young people to explore sustainability not only as an environmental responsibility, but also as a personal and social practice. Set in the stunning natural landscape of Madeira, this project brings together youth from across Europe to reflect, connect, and take action.
🌿 What’s the project about?
Re:Connect focuses on three interconnected dimensions of sustainability:
Environmental – through nature-based activities, clean-ups, and workshops on responsible consumption and climate change.
Personal – by encouraging mindfulness, self-awareness, and reflection on how we live and relate to the world.

Participants will create a collective output, the Green Steps Manifesto, summarizing the ideas and practices shared throughout the week.
