Description

Hey everyone! We are thrilled to announce that Pangaea Youth Network is a partner for the "Menstrual Awareness Campaign" by Real Relief.

What is Kick Off The Dialogue?

Kick Off The Dialogue on Menstrual Health is a coordinated global social media campaign running on Facebook and Instagram from May 1st to May 28th, 2026.

This year’s #KickOffTheDialogue2026 carries the theme: A Word A Day.

-

The campaign unfolds online, where we can reach a broad and diverse global audience, engage communities across borders, and place menstrual health firmly on the public agenda.

For 28 days, one girl per day will share her word on our platforms.. 28 days, 28 countries, 28 words. Offline is where real conversations happen. It is where girls and women express their experiences, questions, concerns, and perspectives in a safe environment. It is where understanding deepens, knowledge is shared, and stigma begins to dissolve.

The workshop on Tuesday April 14th

Pangaea Youth Network will host a workshop with the help of Silvana Hristova in our cosy basement at Kamtjatka 8, on Tuesday 14th of April at 17:00.

-

First we will have a teaching session with M.Sc. Maité Cristina L. López, a Emancipatory Menstrual Educator, Sociologist specialized in Human Rights and Peace Education.

"A collective dialogue with historical perceptions, cyclicity, empowered self-study, cycle remembrance journey. We propose an intimate, soft and exploratory safe space. Comfortable clothes, journaling materials (if desired) and altar offering for all the women who have made it possible for us to gather freely and share knowledge."

-

Then we will have a creative session making bracelets and more.

There will be snacks, drinks (Bloody Mary) and goodies!

-

Who can come ?

-

We are inviting women from at least 10 different countries to participate.

You need to be interesting in menstruation and women's issues to join but most importantly you need to understand that joining this event means that you need to participate to the campaign. You need to be okay with the fact that there will be pictures of you taken to put on social media.
