Community Christmas Event
Horsens, Denmark
Description
On 20 December, Pangaea Youth Network is hosting a full-day community Christmas event at our cosy basement space in Kamtjatka 8, Horsens. The aim is to bring local and international youth together around food, games and music in a warm and informal setting.
The programme starts in the afternoon with cooking Christmas dishes together (14:00–18:30), continues with a shared meal and time for conversation (18:30–19:30), and then moves into evening activities. At 20:00 we will sit down to play “Pakkeleg”, a traditional Danish Christmas gift game, followed by Christmas karaoke from 21:00 to 22:00.
Participants are asked to bring wine to share, two wrapped presents worth around 50 DKK each (a total of 100 DKK) to use in the Pakkeleg game, any traditional game they would like to introduce, and of course a good mood. The event is open to young people who want to celebrate Christmas in an inclusive, international community atmosphere.
